If The Big Nail could talk (which would mean it had a mouth), here’s what it would say on this very special day:

Cranberries dripping down my front
Have stained my armored suit.
I ate too much Thanksgiving day
But frankly I don’t give a hoot.

I slurped a pile of dressing
Gobbled down a turkey thigh,
Dribbled messy cranberries,
Devoured some pumpkin pie.

Within me on this special day
It’s a thankful heart that beats away.
For all the things that I enjoy
None more so than Thanksgiving Day.
